Celebrate Lafayette this summer!

There are many things happening in Lafayette this summer. Stop out and join the fun in our small community!
Monday's in July, food trucks are visiting us from 4 to 7 in Lund park. The Friday night socials continue, followed by the Lafayette Band performances - did you know this is their 120th year of continuous concerts!
The last weekend in July (Lafayette Days) the UFC hosts the annual tractor pull, there are city-wide garage sales, on Friday night there is a new event hosted by the fire relief association - Craft beer and wine tasting! Its also Dave's Place summer party weekend with bounce houses, bean bag tournament and a street dance featuring Chopper - early for kids and later for adults. This year there is a kiddie parade added to the fun!
Tuesday, August 1st is the annual Night to Unite with many activities for families and kids - Bounce houses, many different types of vehicles and machinery, information of service organizations, meal by the Lions, the ice cream truck will be here too!
Saturday, August 26th is the annual Lion's Hog & Corn Roast followed by the relief association's dance with DJ Grack & Roll.
Dave's Place Bike & Car nights started in May and have had many bikes and cars rolling in to town! They are held every other Wednesday with the final dates of July 26, August 9, 23 and the grand finale is September 6th.
In August the Legion, Eagle Scout Landon Uhde, Evolve Landscaping and volunteers will be installing the memorial pavers in the newly named "Lafayette Memorial Park" (formerly mini park). The Legion is planning a dedication ceremony in September.
