Lafayette Area Lions

The Lafayette Area Lions Club was chartered with 57 members on May 5, 1979; the Lions motto is "We serve."

The Lions are a great asset to our small community and and generous with their giving to so many. They follow their motto of "We Serve" by having made donations to the City of Lafayette, Lafayette Fire Department, Lafayette Ambulance, Lafayette Charter School, Lafayette Park & Recreation, Lafayette Boy Scouts, area youth college scholarships, and to so many families in need through fundraising efforts.  They also give service donations to Lions projects such as the area diabetes walk and eye glass mission. If there is something happening in the community you know there are Lions members behind it!

The Lions meet monthly at the community center on the second Tuesday each month at 6:30pm. They are always looking for more members to serve the Lafayette Area.

April 2024 - The Saturday Bar Bingo and Thursday racing and meat reffles come to an end. Watch for the fall start up dates!

NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT!! Currently the Lions are  updating the old playground equipment. The City worked with the Lions and aquired an equipment bond, the Lions have committed to donate the bond payments for the project. The playground will arrive the first of May 2024 and work will be done until complete.  By supporting the Lafayette Area Lions, either a donation directly to them or through the bingo, pulltabs, and other fundraisers, etc., you will be helping them on this huge donation to the the kiddie park and bring joy to many generations of children in our area!
