June 13 Council Blight Tour of Residential and Commercial properties

On June 13, 2022 the lafayette city council and staff will tour the entire city both Residential, Commercial and City properties during their annual blight tour.
Some of the items they will look for are inoperable vehicles, all vehicles must have current tabs. Appliances stored outdoors, weeds, machinery that should be stored in an enclosed building, tires stacked or laying around, storage or accumulation of household waste, any item that may be deemed a safety concern.
Utilize this next month and the residential cleanup date on May 21 to tidy up your property. The compost site is open for yard and garden waste and also brush and tree branches 3 inches of less. Thank you.
