Lafayette City Council

Lafayette City Council meets on the second Monday each month at 7pm. Special meetings, workshops, hearings or date / time changes will be posted at the city office.
Lafayette Legion Post #300

The Lafayette Legion Post #300 meets monthly at the community center on the third Tuesday.
Lafayette Area Lions

The Lafayette Area Lions are a service organization which supports Lafayette and the surroung area. They meet the second Tuesday each month at the community center. Contact any Lion member for information to join!

Lafayette Citywide Garage Sales
Begins: 1/1/2025
Ends: 12/31/2025 - 6pm
Lafayette's citywide garage sales dates are set for Saturday, May 10 and Saturday, October 11 from 8 am to 2 pm. Some sales maybe open on Friday or stay open later on Saturday. Watch for updates to be posted!
We are looking for a new coordinator for 2025 and beyond! A huge thank you to Kathy Eckstrand for her years of volunteering to coordinate the garage sales for many years!

Lafayette Study Club Celebrates 105 years!

Lafayette Study Club has much to celebrat; our local book club has been around for 105 years!
Study Club meets from September through May on the third Tuesday each month, except December, at 7pm.
The schedule is set in August at an organizational gathering with all members. Each month there is a host and one or two members do a book report of their choosing. Join our love of reading - there is laughter, sharing and joy at each gathering.
Community Band Concerts and Friday Night Socials

The Lafayette Community Band is over 100 years as an organization.
The Band will have its first performance at the Legion's Memorial Day program on Monday, May 26. They are always looking for new members! If you play an instrument and are interested - contact Joe Hoffman 507-276-0426
