Community Band Concerts and Friday Night Pie Socials

The Lafayette Community Band, which is over 100 years as an organization, has set their schedule for the 2022 season and Friday night Pie Socials are also set!
The Band will have its first performance at the Legion's Memorial Day program on Monday, May 30. They are always looking for new members! If you play an instrument and are interested - contact Joe Hoffman 507-276-0426
June dates - Mini Park Band Stand - 3, 17, & 24 June 8 is at the Bernadotte annual Pie Social
July dates - Mini Park Band Stand - 8, 15, 22 & 29 (no concert on July 1 due to the 4th of July holiday break)
August 27 at the annual Lion's Hog & Corn Roast
The Pie Socials are community events at which local organizations put on a light meal prior to the band concert as a fundraiser for their group's purpose. This is a great way to meet and support organizations in and around the Lafayette community! The bonus is no cooking or cleanup for seven Friday nights this summer!

Lafayette City Council

Ends: 12/31/2022
Lafayette City Council meets on the second Monday each month at 7pm. Special meetings, workshops, hearings or date / time changes will be posted at the city office.
Lafayette Study Club Celebrates 102 years!

Lafayette Study Club has much to celebrate! The local book club has been around for 102 years!
Christine Husom - National Best selling Author of the Snow Globe Shop Mysteries and the Winnebago County Mysteries will be the guest speaker at the celebration on Saturday, June 25th from 1 to 3pm, doors will open at 12:30.
